Our Story
Grease Buddies™ started with a simple moment in our own kitchen.
After cooking, my wife asked me to hand her a paper towel so she could soak up the leftover grease in the pan. We only had one sheet left.
Standing there, looking at a pan full of hot grease, I remember thinking, "There has to be a better way."
The usual options all seemed messy. Save the grease in a jar. Carefully pour it into aluminum foil or another container. Use several paper towels and hope they absorb enough. None of it felt like a solution that was actually designed for the job.
That question led us to start researching.
To my surprise, I couldn't find a disposable kitchen product made specifically to absorb cooking grease from a pan after cooking. There were paper towels, shop towels, and plenty of cleanup hacks—but nothing created for this everyday problem.
So I set out to create one.
Grease Buddies™ was born from a simple idea: make grease cleanup easier, cleaner, and a little more enjoyable with a product designed specifically for the job.
Today, that same mission continues to guide everything we do.
